“Passion and purpose”. For ski racer Mikaela Shiffrin, these are the most important factors in her success. And Lord Norman Forster also puts it in a nutshell when asked about the reasons for his success: “The most important thing is passion“.
And what characterises a successful entrepreneur? This question comes up again and again in discussions with my business partners. From my point of view, there are various characteristics: A strong passion, healthy self-assessment, innovative creativity, perseverance and endurance, determination, strong social networking, targeted use of resources, teamwork, a high willingness to take risks and the willingness to be a lifelong learner.
Of course, it is not always possible to develop all these qualities and to effectively introduce and implement them in a company. After all, other factors ultimately determine whether a company can be managed and developed in a future-oriented manner. My experience shows that it is always worthwhile to get involved. Building a functioning company is rarely a sprint. It is a marathon and requires a lot of patience, energy and strength for sustainable growth.
For me, it is a privilege to be able to lead and develop our companies together with my various business partners. In the next few personal posts, I will introduce the individual companies and outline my commitments. I will start with HMQ – my first commitment, my oldest “entrepreneurial child”.
